Solis Networks Governance

The developers of Solis Network have built an innovative on-chain decentralized governance mechanism that attributes to the DPoS algorithm. There are Candidates, Signers, Delegators and Elected Delegators for the ecosystem. In the consensus, only the Solis Network Foundation/Developers are able to initiate Solis Improvement Proposals (AIP) and will be voted by the Signers, and all the votes tabulated will help to decide if a proposal is successful (to pass a proposal, it must garner at least 11 Signers’ vote). Once the AIP is voted in favour, it will be updated into the Solis Network and become Network Proposal for the signers to vote on any new proposal on the values. This Network Proposal voting mechanism is normally used for any adjustments of the Network parameters which will ensure the blockchain governance is decentralized.

To encourage high commitment from the blockchain community to continuously improve and ensure Solis Network is highly relevant in tandem with the blockchain industry’s growth and requirements, the developers have implemented an attractive and efficient incentive mechanism in the effort to advocate self-prosperity of the network. Thus, the Signers will conduct the related works to produce blocks and earn block production rewards. The Elected Delegators will be sharing a certain percentage of block rewards from their respective Signers’ pools which they staked $SOLS if prerequisites are met.
