Block Production and Rewards

Upon 11 candidates having been successfully elected as the Signers for the particular Epoch, they are responsible for producing blocks and voting on proposals with the incentive of $SOLS reward for their performance. Below flowchart provide a clear picture of the block production’s process:

  1. $signer[0] has been removed from the list, the recent list always keeps maximum up to 11 signers and for the purpose of preventing signers from signing more than 1 block within $signerLimit (11).

  2. say $signer[12] node is down.

  3. Other signers not in the recent list have the right to compete for block creation.

  4. Eventually, signer[13] wins the block, so he will receive 2.5 $SOLS happily.

Signer Reward

The Solis Network generates blocks every 15 seconds, with each block awarding 5 $SOLS, 50% or 2.5 $SOLS distributed to Signer.

Elected Delegators Reward

With every block producing, the top largest 100 Delegators of the respective Signers’ pool will share 50% or 2.5 $SOLS. There will be no block reward produced for the Elected Delegators, if the respective Signer’s pool total staking amount of $SOLS is less than 250,000. It is part of the Solis Network’s deflationary strategy to reduce the issuance of $SOLS to total circulation if certain criterias are not met.
