Design Rationale

As per Solis Network design rationale shown above, Solis Network is built on BNB Chain that this separate blockchain runs in parallel to BNB Chain with its independent DPoS consensus, Bridge and Relayer.

Furthermore, the common consensus algorithms adopted in blockchain projects are Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS) and Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS). These community-based approaches have their sets of fundamental credentials which makes PoW, PoF and DPoS so important to run a blockchain and be attractive to their respective community.

Unlike Ethereum Network which is Proof of Work (PoW) consensus, Solis Network will adopt Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm for the network ecosystem.
